Hand-made lace stars for the 2012 IOLI Convention

The convention committee is asking for hand-made lace stars for the convention. The due date for the stars is April 30, 2012.

Specifications:

• Stars: 5 points
• Size: 2-3 inches in diameter
• Color: either white or silver
• Thread: size 20 thread or finer
• Lace technique: Any

We have previously asked for stars in any color, 3-4 inches in diameter, and we still will accept those if you have some made, but this request is for a special project we will be doing for the convention.

December Minnesota Lace Society Meeting

We meet at the Textile Center of Minnesota (3000 University Avenue SE
Minneapolis, MN 55414). We will start the December meeting at 6:30 PM (normally we begin at 6:45). 

We will be having a potluck and lace ornament exchange. Bring a dish of your choice to share. The ornament for the exchange must be hand made lace and should be in a card or box with your name inside (not on the outside of the package), and it is appreciated to include some details as to the lace technique, pattern source, etc.
